I’m K.L. Arun, born and brought up in Chennai, with my native roots in Tiruthani. I completed my graduation in Mathematics from D.G. Vaishnav College in the year 2000.
Soon after, I began my career in the foreign exchange industry, gaining valuable experience with leading money exchange companies based in Chennai. With a strong vision to create a trusted brand in this field, I founded Prime Forex Private Limited in August 2006. Within a month, we received our Full-Fledged Money Changer (FFMC) license from the Reserve Bank of India, allowing us to offer international currency exchange services legally and professionally.
Over the years, Prime Forex has steadily grown. Today, we operate with our head office in T. Nagar, the heart of Chennai, and run 3 active branches at Phoenix Market City - Velachery, Chennai Airport Metro Station, and Aerohub Mall inside Chennai International Airport Campus. We have proudly served over 3 lakh customers since inception.

On the personal front, I married my wife Geetha in October 2007. She joined me as a co-director in the company in 2012. We are blessed with two children – our daughter Durga Shree Arun, Studying in Class XII specializing in Commerce with Entrepreneurship, and our son Rohith Arun, studying in Class X at KRM School, Perambur.
With nearly two decades of experience, I continue to remain passionate about offering reliable, transparent, and customer-friendly forex services, and I’m excited to connect with fellow Rotarians for mutual growth and service.
